Colour Theory

Gromit decides to take up dancing as a hobby. One day his friend Pedro runs for class president. Pedro doesn't know what to do for his speech to get more voters. Gromit being the good friend he is decides to dance in front of the entire school after his speech to get more voters. After Gromit's  dance a lot of the students decide to vote for Pedro and make the school better.
I want the audience to feel a sense of nostalgia and confusion. Its like a bittersweet thing. They will be like why, but yes at the same time.
I can use colour to reveal things about my character and the setting he's in. the purple and brown stage contrasts to show the different details. Gromit is brown because thats his colouring in the show.
